I would walk this path that leads to the Bronte Waterfall and then up over the moor most days when I lived in Haworth, in Yorkshire.

NO CHILDHOODS END

Painting in gouache, the place is Wycoller which is just over the moor from Haworth,
The village , or perhaps better described as hamlet, is sometimes called "the hidden village", wonderful place !

FOXGLOVE

Foxglove is another of my paintings in gouache inspired by the area around Wycoller. The steep grassed path that leads down to the village of Wycoller from the moor is the Old Coach Road. In summer the hedgerows at the side of the paths are full of foxgloves.
